Gazipur killed student covered under van

A college student was killed by a covered van on Dhaka-Mymensingh Highway in Barabari area of Gazipur. After the angry local people set fire on the van

Farjana Akter, a student of class X1, was killed in a collision with a covered van in Tongi's Barabari area. This incident happened on Saturday at the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Tongi's Barabari area around 1:30 in the afternoon.

Student of the killed student Shafiuddin Sarkar Academy and College of Tongi. Inspector of Gazipur Highway Police Oheiduzzaman confirmed the incident.

Oheiduzzaman said the girl's house was located in Sadar upazila of Gaibandha in Kaduria area. His father's name is Faruk Hossain. When the girl returned home from the college, the covered van hit him. Police recovered the body and took it to the morgue.

Eyewitnesses said that the aggrieved crowd of people burnt the covered van in the case of pressurizing Farzana. Fire service workers go to the fire
